As plans are being set for the 2024 season, knowing what insecticide fits your acre can be a key decision in achieving higher yields and keeping pests under control. While it’s hard to know right now in January if we will have an “insect year” in the summer, knowing what each does can make decision-making easier. The BASF portfolio offers three insecticides: Fastac® CS Insecticide, Renestra® Insecticide, and Sefina® Insecticide. With each having unique benefits, let's go into what benefits you can have when using it on your farm.

Knowing potential target crops that could receive an insecticide application will also aid in selection. For example, Fastac CS insecticide is labeled across many crops grown in the Midwest, while Renestra insecticide and Sefina insecticide have a narrower crop focus.
