Don’t get robbed! Fusarium head blight (scab) is the most economically important wheat disease in the U.S. Protect yield potential with Caramba. FHB is a disease that affects the head of small grain crops. It reduces yield and quality through shrunken kernels and increased toxin levels. Fusarium produces mycotoxins, DON (deoxynivalenol) being the most common. High levels result in grade losses at the elevator. Caramba provides best in class DON reduction. Fungicides are less effective when applied prior to flowering, and should be applied at early flowering for maximum protection. You will see anthers coming from the center part of the head at the beginning of flowering.
