It is time to apply Caramba fungicide for Fusarium Head Blight in Spring Wheat...IF your wheat is at the Feekes 10.5.1 growth stage. We had a wide range of planting dates this spring and we now have multiple stages of wheat in ND & northern MN.Feekes stage 10.5.1 is the BEST time to apply Caramba fungicide. This stage correlates with yellow flowers (anthers) emerging from the middle of the wheat head.Apply Caramba fungicide at 13.5 fl oz/A to achieve excellent protection from Fusarium Head Blight.Caramba fungicide provides Best-In-Class Don Reduction compared to competitive fungicides.
