The fight against Cercospora in Idaho sugarbeets

Cercospora started earlier than normal this season. Unfortunately, it is continuing to develop in beet fields. BASF has 2 powerful tools to help in the fight. Priaxor Fungicide and Provysol FungicideThere are serious fungicide resistance concerns with Cercospora in sugar beets. Both Priaxor (FRAC 7/11) and Provysol (FRAC 3) provide effective control. Using them in rotation helps prevent the selection of fungicide resistant Cercospora. In the Treasure Valley or in other areas with a history of heavy Cercospora we recommend tank mixing Priaxor or Provysol with sulfur.
