Too Early for Soybean Burndowns?

The calendar says we are early for burndowns, but Growing Degree Day (GDD) accumulation here in Michigan says we are tracking 12 days ahead of "normal". I would recommend that soybean burndown applications should be going out now. Using Zidua PRO (6 oz/ac) gives us the burndown of troublesome weeds like marestail and the long lasting residual control we need. It is better to be a little early than to get behind and not get Zidua PRO applied because the soybeans emerged. You don't want to end up like the field below from 2020!Field was vertical tilled, planted and emerged with no burndown. The grower did not utilize an effective post herbicide like Engenia or Liberty.Zidua PRO can be applied ahead of any soybean trait platform, so get the fields sprayed now and plant with confidence.
