Since its introduction to the market in 2021, ST 5091B3XF has seen tremendous success across the state of Georgia. This variety has a proven track record of consistent high yields in our Stoneville Agronomic Performance Trials as well as the University On-Farm variety testing program. This performance has translated to grower fields, as highlighted by the outstanding yields produced by our Stoneville Legacy Club participants.
ST 5091B3XF allows for excellent weed control with tolerance to Engenia, Liberty, and glyphosate as well as three-gene lepidopteran resistance, which decrease the likelihood of additional worm control.
ST 5091B3XF has a mid to mid-full maturity in the Southeast with a plant type that performs well across the many different soil types across Georgia. It tends to be one of the taller plant types in the Stoneville cotton portfolio so it responds well to a more aggressive plant growth regulator program. This variety has a strong fiber package and averages a premium on micronaire and strength coupled with a high turnout percentage.
