The growing season is in the home stretch. Harvest is just around the corner. Even though the crops will soon be done growing, the winter annual weeds will have just begun their life cycles. Getting ahead of winter annual weeds like marestail, henbit, and pennycress, just to name a few, is best done with a fall burndown.

Distinct® Herbicide is an excellent weed control tool for tackling winter annual weeds. Distinct combines dicamba and diflufenzopyr (DFFP) to maximize broadleaf weed control. DFFP concentrates growth regulator herbicides like dicamba, 2,4-D, and fluroxypyr with naturally occurring plant auxin at the growing points of treated weeds resulting in quicker, more complete broadleaf weed takedown.

In a fallow or fall burndown application, the addition of 2,4-D or more dicamba can increase knockdown and provide short-lived residual protection from broadleaves.

Start planning your fall burndown now and be prepared for a distinct difference in cleaner fields this spring!
