Registered just in time for the 2024 season, Surtain® Herbicide demos were placed wide and far across corn-growing geographies. Now that the season is coming to a close, results are coming in and it is clear that Surtain offers certain success for long-lasting residual weed control.

Surtain is powered by two robust residuals: Zidua® Herbicide and Kixor® Herbicide. However, the Kixor portion of Surtain has been uniquely formulated to provide only residual and not its traditional, non-selective, burndown.

The Kixor component of Surtain provides long-lasting residual against emerging small and large-seeded broadleaves while the Zidua component of Surtain provides long-lasting residual against small-seeded broadleaves and grasses. Together, they make a complete residual that is certain to perform.

The photo above shows a clean field at harvest following a sequential herbicide program in which Surtaine was applied early postemergence. When planning your herbicide program for next year be certain that Surtain is a clear choice for long-lasting residual protection from weeds on your corn acres!
