Weed resistance can happen very quickly if you do not take preventative steps. Applying high rates of herbicides can select resistant weed biotypes. Applying low-rate herbicides can develop weed resistance too.
How can you take action against weed resistance issues? Use recommended herbicide use rates for targeted weed spectrums, rotate modes of action herbicides, & if you have weed escapes remove them before they go to seed.

If you see a weed escape, be aware & take action to remove them from your fields before they produce seed. One plant can produce thousands of seeds which can lead to many years of problems.
